Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 pound thin spaghetti,* broken in half
  • 8 kosher beef hot dogs, cut into 6 even pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Spaghetti sauce (optional)
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Have ready a large pot of boiling water.
  2. Thread 5 to 7 spaghetti strands through each hot dog piece. Cook until pasta is al dente, about 6 minutes.
  3. Drain spaghetti and mix with the butter.

Notes

Thin spaghetti must be used. It is the size between regular spaghetti and angel hair pasta.
