Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef or ground turkey 1 small onion, finely chopped 1 rib celery, thinly sliced 1/2 cup ketchup 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon honey Salt and pepper to taste Hamburger buns Optional toppings: sliced pickles, cheese

Instructions

  1.   In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef on the stove top.
  2.   Drain excess fat and add, along with remaining ingredients, to a 5-quart or larger slow cooker. Stir to combine well.
  3.   Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
  4.   Serve on hamburger buns.
