Sweet Pancakes with Jelly
Sweet Pancakes with Jelly is a recipe from my Swiss grandfather. He had a huge vineyard at his house where he also kept bees (the honeycomb honey was fantastic). So grape jelly was always the jelly we used on these pancakes, along with plenty of real butter.
His nickname was “Oleo” because he refused to eat margarine. Actually, these are crepes rather than pancakes, but I’m going with Grandpa Roth’s original recipe title.
