Ranch Scalloped Potatoes
Adding Ranch dressing mix to scalloped potatoes will have your family and guests begging for more! This recipe can easily be halved for a 9-inch square baking dish.
Ingredients
4 large russet potatoes, thinly sliced
1 envelope ranch seasoning mix
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream, milk, ranch seasoning mix, salt and pepper.
- In the prepared baking dish, arrange a layer of sliced potatoes, then sprinkle with some cheese. Repeat layers until all potatoes are used.
- Pour the ranch sour cream mixture evenly over the layered potatoes.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 45 to 50 minutes, until potatoes are tender.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Top with chopped green onions if desired, and serve hot.
