Ingredients
4 fresh peaches
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Halve the peaches vertically and remove the stones.
- Melt unsalted butter in a nonstick frying pan over medium heat.
- Stir in brown sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger and salt until incorporated.
- Arrange the peach halves in the pan, cut side facing downward, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, allowing the surface to brown and caramelize.
- Carefully turn the peach halves and cook the other side for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
- Serve the hot peaches at once, pairing as desired with ice cream, yogurt or pancakes.
