Onion Soup Brisket
Onion Soup Brisket is truly a melt-in-your mouth beef brisket. It is also our family’s go-to brisket recipe.
Beef brisket is a cut of meat that comes from the lower chest or breast area of a cow. It is a tough but flavorful cut due to its connective tissue and muscle fibers. Because of its toughness, brisket is best cooked slowly using methods such as smoking, braising, or slow roasting to break down the connective tissues and develop tenderness. It is commonly used in dishes like barbecue, corned beef, beef stew, and pot roast, such as this Onion Soup Brisket.
