- 1 box Jiffy yellow cake mix
- 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking pan.
- In separate bowls, mix yellow cake mix and cornbread mix according to instructions on the boxes.
- Blend both prepared mixes together.
- Turn into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until cornbread springs back when lightly touched.
Notes
CAUTION: Do not try to mix all the ingredients in one bowl. For some reason, this will not work, and the result will be cornbread that doesn’t rise well.
