- 2 teaspoons crushed red chile peppers
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, peeled and finely minced
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 4 (10 ounce) salmon steaks
Instructions
- Combine chile peppers, garlic, soy sauce, vegetable oil, ginger and brown sugar and pour into shallow non-reactive baking dish.
- Place salmon steaks in dish; cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours, turning salmon halfway through marination.
- Remove salmon from marinade and place on preheated grill that has been lightly greased with vegetable oil. Cook over medium-high heat (350 degrees F) for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until salmon is just barely opaque throughout.
