Ingredients

1 (2 pound) ribeye steak 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided 4 tablespoons butter, divided 3 large garlic cloves, minced, divided 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) 1 teaspoon fresh parsley leaves, minced

Instructions

  1. Cut steak into 3/4-inch cubes and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat half of the oil in a large heavy bottom skillet over medium high heat. Add half the steak in a single layer and cook, turning a few times until golden and medium rare, about 5 minutes, or to your liking.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons butter and half the garlic and toss to coat.
  4. Remove steak to a serving bowl.
  5. Repeat with remaining steak, remaining 2 tablespoons butter and half the garlic.
  6. Toss steak with the butter and garlic from skillet.
  7. Garnish steak with rosemary.
  8. Serve with wooden picks.
