Everyday Cheesecake

This is definitely my all-time favorite cheesecake, and it is so simple that you can make it often. Be careful! It’s addictive!

Use these Tips for the Perfect Cheesecake

Any fruit pie filling will work for the topping, but there are other toppings that are equally as delicious.

Alternative Cheesecake Toppings

Cranberry Sauce

1 (16 ounce) can whole cranberry sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon cold water
Red paste food coloring (optional)

Heat cranberry sauce in a saucepan over low heat. Dissolve cornstarch in water, and stir into berries. Cook until thickened. Spoon over cheesecake. Chill.

Pineapple Sauce

1 ( 20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Add all the ingredients together in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Continue to cook, stirring constantly, for 2 to 3 minutes, until thickened.

Peanut Butter Sauce

Combine peanut butter with honey or corn syrup. Microwave for 30 seconds. Remove from microwave and stir. Let cool slightly before adding to top of cheesecake.

Matcha

Sprinkle Japanese powdered green tea liberally over the top of the cheesecake for an Asian touch.

Oreo

Crush Oreo cookies and sprinkle over the top of the cheesecake.

Heath Bar

Crush Heath Bars and sprinkle over the top of the cheesecake
