Ingredients

1/4 cup dried onion flakes 2 tablespoons low-sodium beef bouillon granules 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes 1/8 teaspoon celery seed 1/8 teaspoon Hungarian paprika 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.

Notes

If you make a double or triple recipe, 6 1/2 tablespoons is the equivalent of one store-bought envelope.

Use as a substitute for a 2 ounce envelope of dry onion soup mix.

To make a dip: Mix recipe with one pint of sour cream.

To make soup: Bring 3 1/2 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Whisk in soup mix, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes.
