Dr Pepper or Root Beer Pulled Pork
It’s your choice to use Dr Pepper or root beer as the liquid for this Dr Pepper or Root Beer Pulled Pork. We prefer root beer, but both are very good.

Pulled pork is a dish made from pork (usually pork shoulder or pork butt) that is slow-cooked until it’s tender enough to be easily “pulled” or shredded into pieces. It’s commonly seasoned with a spice rub, cooked low and slow (often smoked or braised), and sometimes mixed with barbecue sauce after cooking.
Pulled pork is a staple of American barbecue, especially popular in the Southern United States, and is often served on sandwiches, in tacos, or alongside traditional sides like coleslaw and cornbread.
Many like to pile coleslaw on top of the pork in the sandwich. That is our favorite way too!
