Coca-Cola Roast

Coca-Cola Roast is a popular recipe that uses Coca-Cola soda to create a flavorful, tender roast dish. The soda’s sweetness and acidity help tenderize the meat while adding a caramelized, slightly sweet glaze.

Notes

To bake in the oven: Place roast in pan. Mix onion soup mix and cream of mushroom soup together and pour over roast. If using carrots, potatoes or mushrooms, place them around the sides of the roast. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 325 degrees F for about 3 to 4 hours.

To make in a slow cooker: Place beef in slow cooker and top with dry onion soup mix. Place vegetables around roast. Mix together the cream of mushroom soup and the Coca-Cola in a bowl and pour over roast. Set slow cooker on LOW; cook for 6 to 8 hours. The longer you cook, the more tender the meat becomes. The liquid makes a great gravy!
