Chili Meat Loaf
Chili Meat Loaf is a variation of traditional meatloaf that incorporates flavors and ingredients commonly found in chili.
Half of the chili sauce is used in the meatloaf and the other half is used as a topping, meaning that the total amount of chili sauce is divided equally between the two applications, ensuring that both the meatloaf mixture and the final presentation have the flavor of the sauce. This distribution allows for a balanced taste throughout the dish while also enhancing its appearance.
Leftover meatloaf can be repurposed in various creative ways, such as:
- sliced for meatloaf sandwiches with your favorite toppings
- crumbling it into a pasta sauce for added protein
- incorporating it into a savory breakfast scramble with eggs and vegetables
- transformed into meatloaf muffins by mixing it with mashed potatoes and baking in a muffin tin
- used as a filling for tacos or quesadillas along with cheese and fresh vegetables.
