Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup shredded white or yellow Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups cooked and chopped chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 (7-ounce) package noodles, cooked and drained
  • Buttered bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add flour and chicken broth. Cook until slightly thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and add the evaporated milk and cheese.
  4. Add the chicken, vegetables and noodles.
  5. Place in 3 quart casserole dish.
  6. Top with buttered crumbs.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 to 45 minutes, until browned and bubbly.
