Bubble and Squeak
Bubble and Squeak is a traditional English dish made with the leftover vegetables from a dinner. Carrots, peas, Brussels sprouts, or any other leftover vegetables may be added. It bubbles and squeaks as it is cooking! It is served as a breakfast dish. Howard Hillman classes this as one of the “great peasant dishes of the world.” In place of the bacon, you can used cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage.

Don’t let the name fool you! Easy equals yummy! This is a heavenly lemon spread. It’s delicious on scones, English muffins, biscuits, toast or pancakes. Or blend it with an equal amount of whipped cream and serve as an elegant dessert.

Yorkshire Pudding
