Breaded Pork Chops

Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning 1 large egg 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1.   Rinse pork chops under cold running water, then pat dry with white paper towels.
  2.   Season the pork chops with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper.
  3.   Combine the breadcrumbs and Italian seasoning in a large shallow bowl.
  4.   In another bowl, add the egg and water and whisk well.
  5.   Dip each pork chop into the egg mixture.
  6.   Dredge the pork chop through the breadcrumbs, coating completely.
  7.   Lightly spray both sides of the pork chops well with cooking spray. Place the pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 20 to 22 minutes, turning over halfway through cooking. Air fry until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 145 to 160 degrees F.
