Ingredients

1 baked (9-inch) pie shell
4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 small box strawberry gelatin

Instructions

  1. Place strawberries in pie shell.
  2. Mix water, sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes or until clear and thick.
  3. Remove from heat and add strawberry gelatin; stir until dissolved. Pour over berries in shell.
  4. Chill and serve.
