Ingredients

2 cups water or beef broh 1 envelope dry Italian salad dressing mix 1 envelope dry ranch salad dressing mix 1 envelope dry brown gravy mix 1 (3 to 4 pound) beef roast such as chuck roast Chopped onions, carrots, potatoes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Put the water into a small bowl. Add and mix all three envelopes to the water. Mix until blended completely.
  2. Brown the roast on the stovetop in a small amount of oil. Add the meat to the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the water-salad dressing-gravy mixture over the roast.
  4. Surround roast with desired vegetables, if using.

Cook on HIGH for 4 hours on LOW for 8 hours.
