Strawberry Bread

Strawberry bread is a delicious and moist quick bread that incorporates fresh or frozen strawberries.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, halved

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl; make a well in center of the mixture.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients. Add to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined. Don’t use an electric mixer.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the prepared loaf pans.
  5. Bake for 1 hour.
  6. Cool loaves in pans for about 10 minutes; remove from pans and let cool completely on wire racks.

Notes

* For best results, instead of greasing and flouring pans, use our Pan Release!
