Red Chile Sauce recipe

Red chile sauce is a flavorful condiment made from red chile peppers, which can be used fresh or dried.

Ingredients

New Mexico red chile pods Hot water Garlic powder, to taste Freshly ground black pepper, to taste Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the chile pods in hot water until they are softened.
  2. Add the pods to a blender with 1 cup of hot water, then add garlic powder and
    black pepper.
  3. Puree until of the desired texture, then add salt to taste.

Notes

Red Chile Sauce with Ground Beef: Simply brown the ground beef well and chop finely as it is browning. Drain well, then stir into the Red Chile Sauce.
