Adding Ranch dressing mix to scalloped potatoes will have your family and guests begging for more! This recipe can easily be halved for a 9-inch square baking dish.

4 large russet potatoes, thinly sliced
1 envelope ranch seasoning mix
2cups shredded Cheddar cheese1cupsour cream1/2cupmilk2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
In a bowl, mix sour cream, milk, ranch seasoning mix, salt and pepper.
In the prepared baking dish, arrange a layer of sliced potatoes, then sprinkle with some cheese. Repeat layers until all potatoes are used.
Pour the ranch sour cream mixture evenly over the layered potatoes.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 45 to 50 minutes, until potatoes are tender.
Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Top with chopped green onions if desired, and serve hot.
