Pan-Fried Peaches

Pan-Fried Peaches recipe

Pan-fried peaches are slices of fresh peaches that are cooked in a hot skillet with a small amount of butter.

Ingredients

Scale
4 fresh peaches 1 tablespoon unsalted butter 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Halve the peaches vertically and remove the stones.
  2. Melt unsalted butter in a nonstick frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Stir in brown sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger and salt until incorporated.
  4. Arrange the peach halves in the pan, cut side facing downward, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, allowing the surface to brown and caramelize.
  5. Carefully turn the peach halves and cook the other side for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Serve the hot peaches at once, pairing as desired with ice cream, yogurt or pancakes.
