1 egg white, lightly beaten

2 cups pineapple juice
1 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/2-inch cube ginger, crushed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cornstarch
