Jelly Nougats
Jelly Nougats are colorful treat that offers a delightful contrast between the textures of the nougat and the gumdrops.This is a favorite old-time candy.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
2 1/4 cups miniature marshmallows
3 cups white chocolate chips
2 cups small gumdrops (omit black gumdrops)
Instructions
- Line a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan with parchment paper.
- Melt first 3 ingredients together until smooth.
- Mix in gumdrops.
- Spread in pan.
- Chill overnight in the refrigerator.
- Cut into squares.
- Wrap individual squares with plastic wrap.
Notes
You can use either regular or spice gumdrops for this recipe. We prefer the regular gumdrops.
