Jalapeño Popper Dip

Jalapeno Popper Dip recipe

Use Jalapeño Popper Dip as a dip for chips, crackers, or vegetables, or as a spread for sandwiches, burgers, or wraps.

Ingredients

6 slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled (optional) 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese 1 cup mayonnaise 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chiles 1/4 cup canned jalapeño peppers, diced and drained 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs Sweet red, orange and yellow bell pepper chunks Corn chips or crackers

Instructions

  1. Prepare the bacon, if using, and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the cheeses, mayonnaise,  green chiles, and jalapeño peppers until blended; spread in an ungreased 9 inch pie plate.
  3. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese; top with bread crumbs.
  4. Bake at 400 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
  5. Serve with bell pepper chunks and chips or spread on your favorite crackers.
