Hibiscus Sweet Tea recipe

Hibiscus sweet tea is a delicious and refreshing beverage made from dried hibiscus flowers, which give the tea a vibrant color and a tangy, fruity flavor.

Ingredients

2 cups boiling water 3/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers 1 cup extra fine granulated sugar 4 cups cold water

Instructions

  1. Bring 2 cups water to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in hibiscus flowers. Let steep for 25 minutes.
  2. Pour hibiscus mixture through a strainer into a pitcher to separate flowers. Discard flowers.
  3. Stir sugar into pitcher with strained liquid and mix until dissolved. Pour in 4 cups of cold water and stir until blended.
  4. Pour over a glass of ice to serve.
