Grilled Salmon Teriyaki
The salty-sweet taste of soy and brown sugar come together in this teriyaki salmon recipe. Seasoned with red pepper flakes and garlic, these grilled tender salmon steaks are sweet perfection. Enjoy on its own or serve over a bed of roasted vegetables.

- 2 teaspoons crushed red chile peppers
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, peeled and finely minced
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 4 (10 ounce) salmon steaks
Instructions
- Combine chile peppers, garlic, soy sauce, vegetable oil, ginger and brown sugar and pour into shallow non-reactive baking dish.
- Place salmon steaks in dish; cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours, turning salmon halfway through marination.
- Remove salmon from marinade and place on preheated grill that has been lightly greased with vegetable oil. Cook over medium-high heat (350 degrees F) for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until salmon is just barely opaque throughout.
