Dilly green beans are a delicious and tangy pickled vegetable snack or side dish.
2 pounds green beans, trimmed to fit jars
Several dill fronds, dill flowers, or seed-heads
2 tablespoons pickling spice
2 teaspoons dill seeds
2 cups apple cider vinegar
2 cups water
4 tablespoons kosher salt
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
A small, dried red pepper may be added to each jar, if desired.
Dilly Green Beans will stay fresh in the refrigerator for 2 weeks or more.
